Do I need an account to use the app?
No. You can browse launches, the nautical chart, and keep-out zones as a guest. Signing in unlocks additional features.
Why doesn't the map show my position?
LaunchBuoy needs location permission to show your position on the chart. On iOS, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Launch Buoy. On Android, go to Settings → Apps → Launch Buoy → Permissions.
How accurate are launch times?
Launch schedules change frequently. We update statuses as new information is published, but always confirm with official sources before heading out on the water.
Are keep-out zones authoritative?
No. Zones shown in LaunchBuoy are for situational awareness only and are not a substitute for official Notices to Mariners, Coast Guard broadcasts, or on-water enforcement. Always follow official guidance.
How do I delete my account and data?
